In 2001, University Christian Church began offering ChristCare, a small group ministry. Gatherings of five to twelve people meet on a regular basis with a trained leader to grow in their relationship with Christ and share together as companions on the spiritual journey. Members participate in Bible study, fellowship and care, prayer and worship, and serving and reaching out to others.
In a ChristCare group, participants are encouraged to
become more actively involved with God and one another,
develop a deeper sense of Christian community with people in our congregation,
discover their gifts and talents and develop and use those blessings in daily life.
Six ChristCare groups are continuing to meet, some weekly and others bi-weekly. Some of these are open to new participants. For more information about participating in an existing group or forming a new group, contact Rebecca Terry, Adult Ministries Coordinator at (817) 926-6631.
