Senior Adults Friday Fellowship
|

Join us Friday, September 10, for food, fun, and fellowship. Mary Bowers will speak on lessons learned from working with high risk newborns and their families. Program will begin at 11 a.m. in Room 207 followed by a potluck lunch in Room 211.

Second Sunday Caring Collection

Bring old athletic shoes Sunday, September 12, and Caring for God's Creation ministry will get these gently worn, reusable shoes to various agencies for distribution. No shoes with cleats, please. This is a one day collection--gently tie together by the laces please.

All men (and their sons) and youth are invited to our first gathering Saturday, September 25, 8:30 a.m. in the East Bay of Fellowship Hall. Rev. Bryan Feille of Brite Divinity School will speak. A $5 donation from adult men is requested to help cover costs incurred in preparing our homemade breakfast.

Couple's Encounter Retreat Sign-Up

MNF is a men's small group ministry that meets on six consecutive Mondays in the homes of church members for the purpose of friendship, study, and meaningful conversation. The financial report in the September Journal omitted important detail. Through July 2010, YTD income less expenses resulted in a loss of $206,270; YTD Reserve Transfers offset the loss by $58,334, resulting in an increase in accumulated deficits of $147,936.
